Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya recently witnessed the grand celebration of its annual cultural fest ‘Sarjana’ 2019-20. The celebration continued for four days i.e. from 18th to 21st September, 2019 and encompassed 16 events of different flavours ranging from literature to fine arts. The fest was inaugurated by Mrs. Anuradha Bhatia, Ex. Deputy Director, DALIMSS, Varanasi along with Principal, Prof. Rachna Srivastava. She motivated students to think big and achieve bigger and also conducted a brain storming interactive session with them.
About 450 students show cased their talents in various competitions and 100 participated as anchors and volunteers in different committees.
Performances in Quiz, debate, speech, elocution, turncoat, GD and business planning proved the caliber of budding intellectuals whereas creating of mehandi and rangoli patterns, cartoons, collage and posters justified the nature ‘Sarjana’. The zest, zeal and impeccable planning of students took the event to a new height.
