Deptt. of Home Science, Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kamachha, Varanasi celebrated Rshtriya Poshan Maah, September 2019. Throughout the month various activities were organized.
1. Fireless cooking competition, poster, slogan, college competition
2. Visit to Oriana Hospital, Ravindrapuri, Varanasi by students of BA III to study hospital based diet.
3. Diet counseling camp organized for students & staff of VKM in the college campus.
4. Lecture on Anemia in girls by Swami Dr. Varishthanand ji, Ram Krishna Mission, Home of Service, Luxa, Varanasi.
5. Visit to Annie Besant Primary School, Kamachha, Varanasi by students of BA II for puppet show to school children emphasizing need of healthy diet.
